FAQ List

Answers on materials, minimum order quantities, customisation, payment and quality control — the questions our wholesale and e-commerce buyers ask most often before a first order.

01 · Products & Materials

Which materials do you manufacture?

We run five food-contact lines: sugarcane bagasse, bamboo fibre, cornstarch (PLA-blend) biopolymer, kraft paperboard, PET/PP blister and molded pulp. Tell us the food you pack and we will point you at the cheapest material that still passes your market compliance.

Are the containers microwave and freezer safe?

Bagasse, bamboo and kraft items are freezer safe down to -20°C and microwave safe for reheating. Cornstarch and PLA-lined items are for cold and ambient food only, and blister cups should never go in the microwave.

How heat and grease resistant are they?

Bagasse and bamboo hold hot food up to about 100°C and resist oil without weeping. Kraft boxes get a PE or PLA film liner when they are used for greasy fries or saucy dishes.

Are your products certified compostable?

Our bagasse and bamboo tableware is industrially compostable and we supply the SGS and FDA documentation with the order. Back-yard home composting claims depend on your local standards, so ask before printing that on your own packaging.

Do the lids seal for delivery orders?

Clamshell lids snap-lock and sugarcane bowls come with matching vented or flat lids. For liquid-heavy menus we recommend the sealed-ridge lunch box range, which we have kept at the same tool since the line started.

Which sizes do you keep in stock?

Standard sizes ship every week: 8oz to 32oz round bowls, 3-compartment and half-size clamshells, 16oz to 32oz paper cups, plus 4×6 to 9×9 kraft boxes. Non-standard dimensions are produced on request.

02 · Ordering & MOQ

What is your minimum order quantity?

Stocked, unprinted items start at 500 units per SKU. Printed or bespoke sizes begin at one carton per size, which is normally 3,000 to 5,000 units depending on the mould.

Can I mix different products in one order?

Yes. Most first orders combine bowls, clamshells, cups and cutlery. Each SKU keeps its own MOQ, and we consolidate everything into one container or LCL shipment.

How long does an order take?

Stock production is 7-12 days. Printed packaging runs 15-20 days after artwork approval, and a brand-new mould adds roughly 25-30 days for tooling.

Can I receive samples first?

Free existing samples ship on request and normally arrive within a week. If you need samples printed with your own logo, we produce a pre-press shot first so you approve colour before the run.

What do you need from me to quote?

Item or photo reference, size, quantity per size, whether printing is needed, and your delivery port. With those five details we can turn a quote around within 24 hours.

Do you accept small reorders?

Repeat buyers can restock from held production runs. We also keep tooling registered to you, so a reorder never requires a new mould charge.

03 · Customization & OEM / ODM

Can you print my logo on the packaging?

Yes. We offer flexo for simple one to two colour marks, offset for detailed brand artwork, and watermark printing for a subtle embossed look. A foil or spot-UV finish is available on kraft lines.

Can you develop a new shape or size for my brand?

Our engineering team handles OEM and ODM work: dimensional drawings, mould design, sample shots and mass production in-house. Send us a product photo or a competitor sample and we will work from that.

Do you create the artwork for me?

We have in-house layout support. Send your logo in vector format plus your brand colours and our design team will place the print, then send a proof before production.

Are there tooling or mould costs?

Standard sizes use existing tooling at no cost. A brand-new shape carries a mould fee, which we quote separately and usually credit back once cumulative volume reaches the agreed threshold.

Can packaging be made in my brand colours?

Colour-matched printing is available on kraft and board items. For bagasse and bamboo, colour comes from the fibre itself, so unbleached natural or white are the reliable options.

Can you also handle the retail packaging?

Yes — outer cartons, shrink bundles, sleeve labels and gift boxes can be produced with the same order, so the goods arrive shelf-ready for your retail or e-commerce channel.

04 · Payment & Shipping

Which payment terms do you accept?

Standard terms are 30% deposit by T/T with the balance before shipment, or an irrevocable letter of credit at sight for larger container orders. PayPal and Western Union are used for sample and small consignments.

How is freight calculated?

Freight depends on carton volume and your destination port. Because our biodegradable items nest tightly, one 20ft container typically carries 3 to 5 times more units than the same space in plastic packaging.

Which shipping terms and routes do you offer?

We ship FOB, CFR, CIF and DDP. Ocean is the default for container volume; air or express is used for samples and urgent restocks.

What export documents come with a shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, and the food-contact test reports for the produced batch. Additional market-specific declarations are prepared on request.

How is the goods packed for transit?

Products are bagged per size, cased in five-ply export cartons, palletised and banded, with corner protectors on printed runs. Loading photos are sent before the container leaves the plant.

What happens if goods arrive damaged?

Photograph the cartons and the affected units before disposal. We settle verified transit damage through a credit on the next order or through the cargo claim, whichever your bank and insurer prefer.

05 · Company & Quality

Are you a factory or a trading company?

We are the manufacturer. Our own plant runs the pulping, forming, printing and packing stages, which is why we can hold tooling, colour and lead time to the dates we quote.

Where are you based, and can I visit?

Our production site is in China with showroom space on site. Buyers are welcome during working days; send the dates in advance and we arrange pickup and an English-speaking host.

Which quality system do you run?

Production follows ISO 9001 with batch inspection at forming, printing and packing. Food-contact compliance is verified through FDA and SGS testing reports for each material line.

How do you handle a quality complaint?

Every batch is kept with a retained sample and its production record. Send photos plus the batch code and we trace the run, then respond with the finding and the corrective action within a week.

Do you keep long-term stock for repeat buyers?

For active accounts we hold reserved finished stock and registered tooling so your restock does not queue behind new projects.

Can you support compliance in my market?

We provide declarations of conformity, migration and heavy-metal reports, and compostability documentation. Tell us the country and we confirm what is already covered before production starts.
