Product Description
A liquid portion needs two things from a pack: a wall tall enough that the surface does not reach the lid, and a seal that stays closed when the pack is tilted by a hand carrying two of them. This bowl holds the headspace, and the lid is formed against a rim that has been sized for the liner rather than shared across the range.
Soup-led and winter menus buy the size as a standalone meal rather than a side, and meal-kit brands use it for a two-person stew that goes straight from the chill pack to the pot. The deep wall also takes a spoon cleanly, which a shallow bowl with the same capacity never does.
